Has anyone had this issue? I bring clothing into Poser 2012, am happily rigging, everything is working great....then I save to figures, AND save my scene just in case....when I open either, my changes are not saved...it's just like I'm back to square one and have to start over.
Is there a reason this would not save right ?

Only thing I can think of is that your are saving to external binary file (.pmd). At least it will give you something to check.

Ok I got this figured out. It WAS saving pmd info even though I had that unchecked. I then updated to SR1 and now it stopped doing that. Maybe a glitch that was fixed?

For some reason even if you have it unchecked, both P9 and Pro2012 are creating pmd's.

pp2012 is saving separate dyn files for my dynamic clothing and there are pmd files. I just looked and I do NOT have a check in the square for separate pmd files. I really have problems when Poser saves in a separate pmd file.

I am assuming that everyone saved their preferences before closing the GP window.

I haven't noticed this problem with pmds on my pc. and I don't have the SR installed.
I've loaded morphs into M4, saved him to my p12 library. Also loaded the P12 saved M4 into P7. I had to reload his original skin node setup, cuz the SSS made him Darkman in P7, but all the morphs, clothes, and hair were there.
I'm on Vista. Using 32 bit. P12 is from the retail box. SRee mode.

I checked my pz3 files and found that there were no pmds saved until I installed sr1. I will run some to test to see what is up.

I saved it, but I'm going to run some test to see if that makes a difference.
Edit:
I went in and checked to use the pmds and saved the preferences. Then I went back in and changed it to NOT use the pmds and saved preferences again. Now, there are no pmds being saved. I had not saved the preferences after installing sr1. Seems that fixed my problem. All of my other preferences held with the sr1 install. This was the only one I had a problem with.
