Hi, may I ask if anyone here familiar with DAZ ? I've a rope rigged and with IK . If I export it into Daz, does it work ? Thanks for any help !

There is a D|S forum here at Renderosity.

There is IK in Studio 3.1 and 4, but I'm pretty sure it's not compatible with Poser's, as when I load V4 in Studio 4 there is no option to turn it on.  For each part; there is an option to turn IK on when I right click on a body part, but it doesn't seem to do anything unless I pin a joint.  However,  I could have overlooked something, (I'd read the manual, except there isn't one) so as Laurie says, you mught want to ask in the Studio Forum....

Rather than IK for the rope, you might want to consider Easy Pose.  Much easier to set up and crosses platforms without a hitch.

Ajax (it's creator) sells EasyPoser Underground at RDNA.

I highly recommend PhilC's All Tied Up plugin for Poser.

You can find it at PhilC.net.

IK in Poser and the half finshed IK in DS do not work in quite the same way.

I have to admit that although IK is in DS 3.1 and 4, and should be read from cr2s, it doesn't (at least in my hands) work well for things like chains and tails. As icprncess says, you may be better using ERC as your primary tool if you ant DS compatibility.

Thanks for all the replies.

I've All Tied Up and will try it . if not will try EasyPose !
