Found a corrupted zip archive on my computer - from way back 2004, perhaps.

cherryptailp.zip

Can't seem to locate any trace of this on the internet, not even over at the Posette Forever website.  I may have missed something.

Any long-timers recall this ?

It was hosted at The Art Door, which closed a few years back.  I don't have the file, but I looked up the site on the Internet Archive and came up with this email on the site closing notice...

theartdoor@yahoo.com

The site said there were 210 Poser freebies; I wonder what happened to them all

Thanks so much, WandW.

I had searched earlier at the Internet Archive, but not knowing I should look for The Art Door website, I had no starting point for a meaningful search.

Pity about so many freebies going offline.  Some might have been really useful even today.

Indeed-there are a lot of older models that look great with new textures or shaders; what Dave Hoadley does with Posette as an example...

Did you try to repair the file?  The command line version of zip has a repair feature.  I fixed an old Adam Twaites freebie that is no longer available the other day using it...

Yes I did try repairing with several archivers, but they tell me this is an incomplete file.  Oh well, a pity.  I'll have to pass this one up.

I was getting the same message.  I used zip, which can be gotten from from infozip.org.  The comand line is...

zip -FF --out outputfile.zip inputfile.zip

@jonnybode - Ah, that one.  I see that have the cherryptailv.zip, which works fine and so, yes, I can try contacting author directly.  So therefore, no worries; thanks for your kind offer.

@WandW - ok, noted.  I could also try that type of zip app. Thanks for the info.
