I'm under no illusions about this thread's likelihood of remaining polite and unlocked, but this sounds significant.

B.Howell of Daz product management announced:

"DAZ will make a MAJOR Announcement next week. Without a doubt, this will be the single most important, game-changing, and industry-shaking announcement of the last several years. Stay tuned for this exciting news release from our new CEO, James Thornton"

In less than 2 days Daz forum members have filled about 20 pages trying to guess what this could be. A good number are uneasy.

For Daz to announce that there will be an announcement, and to say it will be "game-changing" and the biggest news in years (thus bigger than Genesis) ... well, the mind boggles.

Or it could be huge hyperbole.
