hi all, i have read that rendering with alpha channel in poser will let me render an animation on a transparent background so i can save it and then import it onto another video. can anyone explain how i do this? i cannot import the video and render over it as my computer will not handle it :(

Render the animations to images using a format that supports an alpha channel, then process as required according to what video software you have.

or go with the pro's, turn the background to green and use the greenscreen functions of the video editor.
or turn the preview to silhouette (Ctrl+1) and render an avi in Preview instead of using FireFly, this will generate a stream of masking frames (After Effects deals with that). set background to black for max contrast.
Hope this helps.

Usually I'm wrong. But to be effective and efficient, I don't need to be correct or accurate.
