I'm looking for some 18th century (or thereabouts) period garb for V4 and M4.
Possibly French, English or British Colonial type stuff... but anything really.
Can anyone suggest any nice clothing and hair figures / props you know of already?
So far have found these examples...

Many thanks for any suggestions :-)

Looks like all older V2/V3 stuff over at that site?
But certainly could be a number of useful outfits there, if I managed to convert them to dynamic cloth perhaps...
Ideally (I should have mentioned in my initial post) I'm looking for conforming clothing (or hybrid perhaps) that I can try running through the Poser Place outfitter script, to use with a weight mapped V4... and indeed M4 once he arrives on the scene.

All of the clothing at PoserFashion is dynamic clothing. Each outfit comes with instructions on how to use it in the material room.
It's there that I learned how to work with dynamic clothing.

Ah - thanks Acadia - have downloaded some now, I see that they are able to be used as dynamic.
...and thanks mysticeagle and icandy265 also... I have duly wishlisted Gisele and a few of esha's items too, for consideration :-)
Just spotted that Neftis3d also has this hair and wig to go with their gown...

...but will have to wait to see if these go on sale methinks...

Did you look over at poserworld.com?

I think someone made some bonnets at sharecg and you can always ask the '20th century clothing' thread at DAZ, which despite the name is frequented by historical clothing renderers and clothing makers.
Actually .. they started this wiki so you should have a rummage . Not sure what all is in there. http://3dhistoricalcloset.wikia.com/wiki/3D_Historical_Closet_Wiki
Cooincidentally I have an 18th century ish day dress I'm just about to start promos for. once I finsih a few little edits. It's not wholly accurate, but its close. The final version will have a custom magnet set to add proper corsetry shaping to clothing and model. It does have a couple bustle and shape morphs to fit a few differrent eras and styles.

Cool - loads of great suggestions ;-)
Like that Francoise Philippe costume for M4... thanks Lisalamadrid. I will wishlist for now also :-)
That Marie-Louise costume, also by neftis3d, just went on sale in fact at daz, so I've grabbed that for starters...
Will be interesting to see how it works with V4WM.
I was pretty much unaware of both poserworld.com and my-poser.com resources in fact... so good to know.
Pinned that Sense and Sensibility range to my wishlist at Daz also - many thanks Lyrra... and I'll certainly look out for your new day dress for this too.

Those are great - thanks Acadia :-)
Already got Rose's Willow outfit in fact... from looking for a V4 cloak for a previous idea.
But hadn't seen those others.
The "Duchesse de Collete" conforming dress set by Jan019 in particular looks great for what I was trying to do just now...
...looks like the right kind of period / style for 1700s as far as I can tell... although doesn't need to be totally historically accurate really - an approximation is good enough for me!
