Is there and option for having selected object not being turned red?
I've been making my way through the manual and looked under File>Options but maybe I'm missing something.
I find turning selected object red really annoying to work with and I am hoping that there is a way to stop it from doing that.
Thanks
Vue 10 complete, Windows 7 Home Premiun 64bit

Thanks for the replay.
It is really annoy to not be able to get rid of that red ghosting. I see that it is listed as a "Feature". Some feature, obscruing the detail of the object you working with by making it mostly red.
You are able to disable showing the wireframe of the selected object so I was hoping that the same could be done with the red ghosting.
I am considering purchaing Infinity. However, unless I'm positive that the red ghosting can be disabled I might just pass.

You can change the red to a different color in Infinite. You can't turn off the color though as far as I can tell.

It is possible to disable it in all Vue versions, go to File, Options, Display options, then untick "Show wireframe on selecetd object".

I still see red. Chris, let e-on know that Vue's highlighting can't be turned off even when it's deselected in the Display options.

Oh, yes, you're right, What I said disables wireframe, but the selected object is still red, solid red now. And indeed, changing this colour is Pro versions only. Sorry I was completely wrong on this one!

Thanks for the replies.
It sounds even in Infinity its there, though you can chose a differernt color perhaps lessening the obscuring effect.

I changed it to a light blue-ish gray color.
