If i wish to set up poser objects or scenes in poser and then export for use in view is it better to save as a poser scene and use that in vue or to save as an object file (or any other type for that matter ) can any one tell me what the differences would be?
many thanks in advance

Depends on what version of Poser and Vue you have. Ever since Vue 4, Vue has been able to accept Poser scenes directly. Now, I haven't used Vue since version 4, but I haven't heard that's changed.
If you want to use .obj, you have to collect the scene for output in Poser and save all to a folder which is a PITA if you wanna change something later on. You'll have to export everything again. For Vue and .obj, all the texture maps have to be in the same folder as the object, or you'll manually be applying texture maps to every .obj in Vue. Once you get a few objects in a scene, that can quickly become a jumbled mess.

I am using poser 2010 and vue 10 and have been importing poser scene in to vue sounds like might be best to stick with that nothing worse than never ending lists of files a program dosnt know where to find i always have trouble finding where something is !
