I want to be able to import and animate some 2D images in Poser along with 3D.
Other than importing a static backgound picture, Poser does not seem to be able to import and animate 2D images.
Is there any way around this? Is there a work around for being able to do this? If so, what is it?

This may help you:-

It will enable you to project a series of 2D images onto a screen and iterate through them frame by frame.

another way is collate all your pictures into a video and import the video as a video background in poser. Make sure you use AVI uncompressed when creating the video to maintain quality. P5 and higher also allows videos to be used as materials. So, as an example, you could have a poser TV actually showing a show.

You can also put different pictures on different flat props and animate the props.

Nice thought there toxic - indeed you can even create effects like parralax scrolling within poser with basic shapes.
