I want make a link to aspeciffic post in a Renderosity thread, so that the browser opens with that specific post at the top of the window, instead of just opening at the top of the page. Can anyone tell me the correct syntax?

You need the number of the message you want to link to first of all - mouse over the quote link and note the last number (quote=xxxx)
Then the syntax is the one used by the ebots to take you to the latest post.

For example, here's the URL that will take you to my reply, above - it should match the link that came in the ebot you received to tell you about it.

Thanks Bob, but I still seem to have a problem with getting the first number. I have my mail set to reject the ebot notifications, I can't deal with what much information in my in box, and even if I could, the emails would have been deleted years ago. So I can't get the number that way. Any other way to get the first number? Unfortunately it does not seem to be the same as the first number in the quote link.

It's the **last** number in the quote link - this is the quote link for your last message:http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/message.php?reply=2848439"e=3922136
So the message number you need is 3922136. Thus:

Quote - I have my mail set to reject the ebot notifications...
OT: why not just uncheck the "Notify me when someone replies" box? Then the ebots could conserve their energy for those who do want them. ;)
