I think the "Apply" button does this in that Dimensions 3d->Render Firefly screen...?

Cheers ;-)

Ah, I see... are you trying to save your own preset then, so that it is re-useable afer quitting, in the next Poser session?

I haven't tried doing this myself yet using the Dimensions 3d screen... I am away from access to Poser until later tonight... so I can't try just now to see if I get the same problem as you or not...

Err... see the 'Save' button? Top left? Between 'Load' and 'Manage'?

Guess what it does...

Mauk, does nothing at all happen when you hit the "save" button?

Or do you get a box asking you to name the preset?

when I press save it opens a small window can give a name to save my but then if I try to load my save nothing appears

Hi Mauk

Sorry for only coming back to this thread just now... my Poser machine has been locked up doing a really loooong render.

I tried this and initially got the same issue as it sounds like you are getting.

Then I figured out I needed to highlight all the different settings in the scrolling list (below the box for typing the preset name) that I wanted to include in my preset, e.g. Bucket Size, Number of Threads etc.

I just selected all of the settings in the list... Bucket Size right down to Gamma, typed a name for my preset and hit the secondary "save" button (in the pop up dialog).

I then got my preset name appearing in a drop down list when I clicked the "Load" button.

Cheers
