What is the best skin shader solution for Poser pro these days?

Which version of Pro? If It's 2010, it's VSS. If it's 2012, it's EZSkin.

I vote for EZSkin, if "these days"means the latest version of Poser...
I was lame, and despite having Poser 9/2012 for months, totally delayed getting EZSkin and using it... instead I clicked away on that add SSS wacro. A lot.
I was a fool....

For P9 / PP2012 users, SnarlyGribbly's EZSkin is great, quick and easy to use (and understand).
But lately I've been doing a lot with BB's VSS - once you've got your head round it, it is hugely flexible.

I have Poser 2012 and got hooked on EZSkin but lately I've been going back to VSS. Like cspear said it's more flexible and it's quite easy to use once you're used to it.

Since I have installed PP2012, I predominently use Snarly's EZSkin. I am hoping that the script can be modified to give more control over different zones, but I do find the hsv component fascinating for changing overall skin color. Otherwise, VSS is my other preference.

I'd say EZSkin shader thru VSS, learn to fully use VSS and you'll get full control over the shader, to add subsurface map, and displacement maps, and body hair, tattoos, and so on...
