Hi My name is Karl

I am trying to set up a Canon eos 60d for someone and I would like to set the centre point so the centre is the main focus point but the instruction manual is as clear as mud I can't find it anywhere if anyone knows what to do I would be really grateful if you would let me know.

Thanks

Karl

I assume you're looking for the nodal point? Then look at this link: http://wiki.panotools.org/Entrance_Pupil_Database

I think that has all the info you need.

why not just let them use auto focus? I think it's the second button top right..The focus lights up ..turn a dial and change where it will focus..

Thank you both for replying to my message ao quickly and thank you for your help and the documents. I can see from them that a Canon Eos 60D is very different to a Canon Eos 500D

You have helped a lot. Cheers

Use the button that you use for zooming in in review mode (That is to say when you view an image)  It's marked out as a rectangle with a cross in it. hold it in and turn the top wheel (Not the jog wheel)  You can then set it to any part you wish, I have a 40D but it is exactly the same on a 60D
