What is the advantage of getting Vue Infinite over the lower priced Vue Complete?  Are the extra features worth it?

Here is the hard-to-find comparison page.  http://www.e-onsoftware.com/products/vue/vue_10_complete/?page=chart

If the differences don't sound exciting or make any sense, then Vue Complete is what you're after.

I was an Infinite user at version 6. I switched to Complete at version 7 because E-on completely changed their price structuring to the point were I no longer could afford it.

I don't really feel like I'm missing much. I mean, there are the obvious things like the fact that Infinite's stock plant library is much larger than Complete's and Infinite gets more and sooner updates. The things I miss the most are little things, like being able to set up my own key-stroke assignments or changing the minimum viewing distance for the open-GL preview so I can zoom the camera in really close to double check details on my models.

Honestly, in some ways I can't figure how they selected which features would only be included in the "Pro" version. Many don't make sense to me as they are not features that add more "power" to the program, they simply add more convenience...something that is far more appreciated by the hobbyist rather than the pro.

I'd rather stay in my lane than lay in my stain!

Good point.  "Movie" studios view Vue as a one-off kind of thing, while everyday users like us are using Vue all the time.

The added trees sure make using vue easier.
