I totally forgot =/

What are the command keys to export an object from the Bryce Preview Window?!?

We had to have the "edit" prompt open for it to work correct?!?

Brain has been butter for a while =/

Ctrl+d  will duplicate a selected object.

Youre correct skiwillgee, but when the edit prompt is open, it "used" to begin an export function.

Seems it's been replaced/removed and is in the edit menu now.

AFAIK both are correct. I think it was 6.3 where the "control d" from the edit option  where you did smooth/unsmooth on exit you were given a list of file formats you could export to, this function was moved to the file>export position.

Ok, I had some time to look at this. "control d" will indeed produce a duplicate object from your normal screen of any object you may have highlighted, however from the "Edit Mesh" window control d has an entirely different function.

With your object highlighted you must have the "E" visible in the dropdown menu, click on this to bring up the edit mesh window where you will have the option to smooth/ unsmooth your object. Without doing any smoothing operation if you hold down "control + d" and "exit the edit mesh window" at the same time you are then presesented with a save window from where the object can be saved in a number of other file formats.

"control+d" still works in my Bryce 6.3 but no longer available in 7pro where you now do File>export. Screen-shot is from B5.5.
