auntietk posted Sun, 03 June 2012 at 5:34 PM
Thanks, everybody! :)
@ Jacomina ... We choose which color plates we use for a meal based on what we're having! LOL! Life with two artists and four colors of dishes. Ppfffttttt ... it's a daily adventure! :) "Honey, we're having broccoli and lentils with tofu. What color plate would you like?" Eggs actually look pale against the yellow plates, but have enough contrast that it's a nice look. Beets do not go on the moss green plates, but they look great on yellow. Salad on blue is perfect. Chicken, corn, salad, broccoli ... all good on red.
Our excitement here might not be off the charts, but we have a REALLY good time! :D

I love how you describe your adventures in your colorful artists-life . I hope yesterday's feast-meal tasted excellent, for me it looks delicious.
Such a good combination of lentils and tofu.
Now I also understand why you 'guys' go camping often, then you have not that 'problem', which color to chose, I bet it's always green, where ever you two go!
btw, we all are artists, also by making food (cooking creatieve, the daily challenge, right?
and by camping eating creative too)

@ Haha, Clive your yellow garden tools stings my eyes because of your POV, which is stunning. A great idea posting them.
@ Dear Maria how beautiful is your pumpkin flower with all those textures and details on, also a great POV, as I like your Hibiscus so much, with that black behind!
@ Wonderful are your yellow Irises, Helle, I love that leave in the foreground with the ridges. Your photo does justice to these Irises, as midst of the green.
We have these flowers too, but every year, small black beetles eat the flowers totally.
I like it, you dipped the flowers of the gorse into slippers. LOL

My second contribution is shaped like a heart, I don't know if this can be seen, because I cut so much.
Anyway, this picture was taken on our guest bed, on the slippers you can read: "Just relaxing on the couch with Tuc" (a kind of salty crackers).
The little pillows are terrible old, once I made them.
