OK I have changed my avatar in the past no problem I tried today as I want to update it but it will not do it. The old one stays and the new one won't show. Is it like posting an image to the gallery only one every 24 hrs so if you post an image you have to wait 24 hrs to change your avatar?

No, but I bet you should check your size! Or the mp's! Try optimizing the image and doing it again. I had that problem once and it was the size in mp's that was too large, made it look like it posted, but when you hit save it did not change. Hope this helps...

Also...make sure you change the name of the file...if it's identical to the old one...the server will call up the (Cached) old one...at least that's the way it used to be.

Well no luck so far, I did change the name of the image and it is even the size they want, but it is not an image I have uploaded but that did not matter in the past. I can just go back to no avatar but that is not my wish.

I will try again in the future.

I use Lunascape 6 but I have used that forever! It is the same rendering engine as FF. Never saw this particular glitch before today. But hey it is sunday, no rest for the wicked (*you know who I mean... hehehehehehe)

I get the same page as Ariana shows. I use Firefox 9 I think that is the latest one. Hey the F5 thing worked new avatar for now anyway.
