I'm having to move all my Poser stuff to a different computer but now Poser 7 doesn't see any of my Poser 5 content. What is the best fix for this?
thanks,
mystmaiden

Have you added the poser5 runtime? This is done by clicking the folder with the plus sign and the running man on it at the upper right of the Poser Libray panel. Navigate to the folder containing your poser 5 runtime and it ought to come right over.

Poser 7 doesn't have the + running man? I have no recollection of how you add an external runtime in P7, but that ain't it.
It does have a manual, though, right?
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

Thank you basicwiz for the reply, all sorted now. I guess its been too long since I loaded these programs - I didn't remember that part! That helped a lot :)

Well, even though I gave you a bum bit of advice, glad it pointed you to the right track. :)
(I never can keep track of the changes version to version, and I haven't seen the P7 control screen in years!)

In P7, you have to work your way to upper level of the library hierarchy, then the add runtime folder icon will appear on the lower half of the panel.

bagginsbill - it probably does but mine just came with a little leaflet. Probably because I bought it long after newer versions had come out. (Tiger Direct) Maybe its online somewhere. Poser 7 install is behaving a little weirdly as far as the install. I have a few strangely placed folders - all from daz3d purchases
