While I really don't like any figures or animals for my Vue scenes, they can be used if you work on them. I read about Poser 9 a while ago and in looking around now, came upon a post in the Renderosity Poser forum that said it could be gotten for $64.99 full for a download version until June 24. I could never find the URL on the SmithMicro site, so I kept going back to the forum. Here it is if anyone is interested. http://store.smithmicro.com/productdetails.aspx?id=20591&sgid=858
As an aside, it downloads very slowly. When I download updates from Vue it usually is at 2.5 MB/sec. Poser files download at 100KB/second. There are about 9 files, so be prepared.

Thanks for the information. That is a great price.

Oh dear. I saw this and thought, well it's about time I moved on from vers 7. It's only a secondary app but it needs updating now and then.
Not a good move. The libraries no longer work and demand all sorts of buggy extras that I don't want near my system. SM not being, how to put it politely, the user friendliest company I doubt they do refunds.

I retract the whinges. It's all come together and the new interface is really good. Much quicker figure setup than in P7.

It won't read your Poser 7 libraries? That would be a problem. What error messages are you getting?
