catman? there is catwoman but as far as I know, no catman.
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
Maybe he's a good guy.

He is definitely going to be the Dark Knight, I just have to finish him. I only have some really good temp textures (procedural) on there. The hard part is going to be making the chest emblem. I don't want to mess with displacement maps, so I am going to see if I can model it...
If I had a nickle for ever time a woman told me to get lost, I could buy Manhattan.

Depends on the timeframe for DC:

Marvel:

Temerson and Holyoke Publishing:

I once saw a really nice batman insignia on the front of his chest which was made from displacement mapping. it would probably be more work to model it. YOu should give displacement a shot.
Love esther

Well, there is a "Wildcat", kind of a minor character who gets revived from time to time. In fact, the great Russ Heath did a miniseries of a Batman title some years back featuring Wildcat and Catwoman! Great illustrations as ever.
I THINK Alex Toth did a Wildcat run but could be mistaken about that. That character was IIRC a former boxer who became a superhero and also occasional villain, depending on your POV. AND, there might be a Catman I don't know about.
usually B/C-atman has no clue where he's heading either. That's what the sign on the clouds is for, I guess. Perhaps his cars knows. Or just add in some penguins and see what happens.

Usually I'm wrong. But to be effective and efficient, I don't need to be correct or accurate.
visit www.aRtBeeWeb.nl (works) or Missing Manuals (tutorials & reviews) - both need an update though
Has anyone done a good Man-Bat for Poser?
EDIT: I mean this dude:

That would be interesting. I read the first issues when he came out years ago. Gave the Batman a run for his money.

Yeah, but I kinda want to do this one on my own. I am trying to learn how to model so I can create my own stuff.
The cape is done. I don't know if I am happy with it, but it's alright for now.
The utility belt and boots are next...

That looks amazing Sam. I am going for more of a Michael Keaton type suit. I got ahead of myself and added the BLLE belt for Ryan and photoshopped the logo on him. I will be making my own belt and logo soon enough.

Thanks, chaps. Should I ever finish it, Ill post it in Freestuff.
Rokket - nice work but the cowl looks a little odd and, IMO, the cape needs a scalloped edge.

I got the cowl too big for his head, but it's because of his damn ears. I am going to rework that cape. I didn't even think to do anything to the edges, plus I want to attach it to the cowl instead of draping his shoulders, like the comic book version. I am going to start from scratch and do it all as a single mesh.
I thought about doing the '66 version of the suit, but I don't think I can do that in Wings. Plus James is too muscular to look right in THAT suit.

You need a morph to shrink the ears down to nothing so they fit inside a regular looking cowl. Also, the top of it needs to be flatter, there's not so much of a dome shape as you have there.
Also, I could be wrong - it's ages since I saw the Keaton movies - but I don't think the face opening has the little pointy bits you have on your version.

Ah, yeah. I took another look, and it doesn't have those. I found a GREAT pic of it. I am going to use that for the v.2.0 suit...

That one is either the Kilmer suit, complete with stupid moulded nipples, or the first Clooney version. I think it's the Kilmer version.
IMO, the best of all those was the Batman Returns version. Looked like armour, rather than moulded muscles and they got the logo right.
