I have the cowl almost done. I didn't notice a few errors until I had rendered it. The costume texture is pretty much final. I may lower the displacement a bit, but I like it. I tried to fix the edges, but it was no go.

I used Ryan this time, and the bodybuilder morph set on .8. I used the BLLE belt again, but this time I exported the .obj file into Wings because the original had about 35 nodes attached in the Material room that I didn't want to bother with. The cape is next, then the gloves and boots.

Oh yeah, click to enlarge the pic. Find any errors I made and let me know!!!

Rendered in Poser 9 with SSS and EZSkin (which was a goof because it affected his costume mat too). The lighting is the one that came with the Apollo bundle when I downloaded it.

If I had a nickle for ever time a woman told me to get lost, I could buy Manhattan.

Thank you! I have already made a few changes in the cowl. I started it in Wings, then exported it to Sculptris and then back to Wings for the UV mapping. The picture below was inspired by the thread about room lighting. It was mentioned that you could use a mesh (like a UV sphere or a primative ball like I did), and not use any lighting at all. I figured that since Batman was a night creature, this would really suit the look. I am going to eperiment with it more as his costume developes.

Sounds good --- you're right about the lighting.  He is out at night basically.

If you check  my thread on Buck, you'll see the progress that 2 hours have made on this face.  LOL.  Amazing how long the time flies.

Signing off, hitting the sack, been on this machine too long today anyway, LOL 😄

Pretty good, rokket! Not so much a "realistic Batman" (oxymoron IMHO), but viable VIABLE VIABLE! More than ready to suspend my disbelief! You impress!

I am working on his cape right now. If all goes well, I will post one more render tonight. And I will go back and see what you have done so far.

I am redoing the cape later on. I worked on his gloves today. The boots are next. I don't know how well you can see it, but there is a lot of detail in the hand part of the gloves. I only put 3 notches on the gloves, and I know there are supposed to be 4. I may scale them down a bit later and add one more, but right now I wanted them to match the ears on the cowl.
