Comes with the program. In the prop folder you have walls to build a room and in the material folder you have materials for it.

Use the Tile node on the One Sided Square. Play with the tile sizes, colours and so forth to get the result you want.

Specular will bring you shine.
Blinn will bring you shine
Glossy will bring you shine.
A bump/displacement map, the tile node, and yes the brick node give you all what you can dream off for a wall.

You have to connect something to the One Sided Square. Click on the little Socket thing at the side of Diffuse_Color, hold the mouse button and drag it out. You'll see a cable and a popup. Select Tile from the popup list.
You'll then have a node to work on. You can change the tile colours, sizes and various other properties.
You can add a black and white version to the Bump or Displacement channels, and maybe play around with Alternate_Specular to give your tiles a glossy look.

Addendum: You should always use Advanced mode in the Material Room. The other is for numpties.
