Hi folks, Been away a loooong time. Thinking of getting a new Poser. 9 or maybe pro but would like to know if i would be able to use my stuff from the P7 days. Can i add my P7 runtime to these versions? Had a look on You tube and thay seem to have a lot of differences. Any other problems?

TIA.

In most cases, yes you can use old stuff. Since there are alays material and rendering improvements, things like lights and material setups might need to be tweaked.

Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.

When I installed Poser Pro 2012, I just linked my existing Poser 7 runtime as an external runtime in PP2012 and it has worked great. Small glitch here and there, but noting that can't be fixed pretty easily.

Poser Pro 2012 SR3

Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

Intel Core I7 990x 3.46G 6 core

24G RAM

EVGA GTX580 R Video Card

Single HP LP2475 1920x1200 monitor
