I installed DazPro 4.5 64 this morning, and now, Daz3.1.2.19 will not load up V4.2, (but it does all the other, ie; A4, M4 and such). and to top it off, in now saves my scenes and microsoft word files, instead of Daz Scene Files..?????? I unstalled pro 4.5, but it didn`t help any. all help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. thanks. johnny

Installing DS4.5 should have prompted an uninstall of DS3 which is probably part of the problem.
I would rename the folder with your saved scenes, then uninstall both versions and install just one, then name your saved scene folder back to what it was.

This is annoying as I like to have a version of DS3 and 4 installed as I still prefere Ds3 for some things as it is faster on my old system.
Seems I'll have to skip the DS4.5 update.
They should make it so you can have more than one version installed if you want to like I have always been able to do in the past.
I've had Ds3 and Ds4 working happily together for ages why have they changed this?

I use daz 3 a lot, and poser 8. But for some reason since I instlled dazpro4.5, vicky 4.2 will no longer load up into daz 3 nor Poser 8...I contacted daz tech support to see what they have to say. Ive had two versions of daz on my computer for quite a while, and not until daz 4.5, have I had any problems. With daz
s help, and everyone else, I`ll get it straightened out. Oh yes, installing daz 4.5 promted an un-instll of daz 4.0, not daz3.
thanks for all your comments and sugestions everyone.

So can DS3 and DS4.5 still run happily together?

Yes, DS3 can share with DS4 - it's just different sub-versions of DS4 (different numbers, not 32 bit vs 64 bit) that can't co-exist.

I have Daz 3 32bit installed and DazPro4.0 64bit installed. I run both with no problem.

I have Studo 3 64 bit and Studio 4.5 64 bit and since installing 4.5 my user layouts are messed up and I have to re create them. Studio 4.5 doesn't work with Studio 4.x but I'm not seeing that Studio 3 is entirly stable after installing 4.5 either, but for the most part it appears to be.
