Don't expect too much...this was my very first shoe model. LOL. If nothing else you'll get some nice shaders out of it ;).

I guess I should mention these are props, not conformers. I didn't see any reason to conform them since they're on just the foot and nowhere else ;).

Sa_raneth posted Fri, 24 August 2012 at 10:55 AM
props will work well
LaurieA posted Fri, 24 August 2012 at 11:05 AM
sigh redownload please. I made an error in the path to the geometry files in the prop file. I've corrected it and reuploaded.

Props work fine. I say your question about the satin material on the forum. You have quite a lot of patience, young lady. Thank you for the shoes.
ETA: What is your modeling program of choice?
LaurieA posted Fri, 24 August 2012 at 11:07 AM
I actually have no patience...lol. I think I'm missing some hair and I broke a nail :P.
You're welcome ;).
Oh, I made these shoes in Wings 3D. It's usually what I go to first since it's what I learned to model in, but I use other programs like Hexagon, Silo and Blender as well when I make clothes ;).

Shoes or shaders? I vote both.
ETA: This is my 100th post, do I get a prize? I am sort of thrilled, posting is not something I do very often.
Sa_raneth posted Fri, 24 August 2012 at 12:04 PM
i vote for both too shoes and shaders

I know nothing about "Shaders" just the fact the the "Pumps " work great and fit nice and I never seem to have enoug. Just wished every outfit came with shoes, pumps, sandels or, what ever.

These are so outfashioned, I wouldn't want to wear them.
monkeycloud posted Mon, 17 September 2012 at 8:37 AM
He he, not sure I'd wear them myself either. Although, for other reasons than fashion. LOL
But I think they look good on my poor, largely shoeless V4 figure
By the way, Laurie, would this style of shoe be at all in keeping with a 50s style outfit?
I'm more up on styles of Daleks than shoes, if I'm honest... I know...
...but trying to put together a convincing-ish 50s get-up for a scene I'm doing.
Many thanks

Maybe the 80s...lol. I don't think they wore heels that high in the 50s.

Just 6 posts and you took the time to make a meaningless one for me. I'm honored. You're solution is simple: don't press the download link.

Ah, okay... he he, yeah, I guess they're quite high heeled! I hadn't really twigged just how high the heels were. Cool... I'll have to do an 80s render then.
Yup, I definitely couldn't wear them myself... without falling over. LOL

I guess for a 50s pinup style pic they might work ;)

Would have been nice if you'd made a nice comment about them, geez. These were made and given as a GIFT!!!
I wouldn't wear most of the shoes, clothes or the hairstyles I have for my 3d characters..but so what??? I wouldn't be wearing them, people in images I create would be!
A second thanks for these lovely shoes, Laurie, to try to offset this thoughtless comment and let you know your gifts are appreciated!

Eh, ya win some, ya lose some ;). LOL That's only the second somewhat unkind comment I've ever gotten for a freebie in about 10 years of giving freebies, so I'm doing pretty good ;).

Definitely! I'm hoping the person just wasn't thinking, and didn't mean to be unkind...hopefully they'll see that this is not a nice thing to do and change their ways :)

Laurie, cut the heels down to somewhere about half an inch and they'd fit for the fifties pretty well. Maybe you could, please? (Grovels, that enough yet?)
