there are chef's outfits at daz for genesis and if you just want them for background figures you should be able to get them into poser.  Also wardrobe wizard can do genesis to poser.

That coat from the Japanese site is perfect for a Davros (creator of the Daleks) styled lab jacket.  Just give it a black leather surface and you're good to go.

There is a scrubs and lab coat set for M4 by Glitterati3Din the Free section here. Perhaps the coat could be useful. Dom DeLuise, who was a gourmet chef, and rather rotund, once said: "Never trust a skinny chef". Hope this helps.
