It is amazing how fast your sitemail box fills up when you are gone for a few days!
I'm posting here to let the forum membership know that I am stepping down as moderator. Last Friday I suffered a heart attack. It was not a big one, and the doctors tell me I am going to be fine, but they do suggest that I try and get as much stress out of my life as possible.
In one way, I have genuinely enjoyed my role as moderator here. In others, I just can't ballance the stress of knowing where to draw the lines with allowing people to speak their minds.
So, I think this is for the best.
Kendra is going to take charge of the forum for the time being, and I am discussing with management some other things I might be able to do to remain involved here at Rendo. It looks promising. I will finish the Forum Challenge contest, as I was the one who started it. The next one will be under the control of the new moderator, whoever s/he becomes.
I wish you all the best, and ask that you give Kendra your full support.
And yes. I'll still be here posting like everyone else, once I get rested up!

goodness basicwiz, I am so glad you are recovering. Luckily there is so much that can be done these days, and sometimes a small heart attack that is a warning and alerts the docs to the presence of occult coronary artery disease can be a lucky find as now they are onto the problem.
I think reducing stress is always a good move. As a moderator you contributed a lot and took the role on during a very stormy part of poser's history (a part which isn't over yet I dare say.)
