Hi: I just got Miki 4 and Tyler. I never have used any native Poser characters before and do not know where to get poses for them. I usually use V4 and M4. Where do I get poses for the native Poser people for Poser Pro 2012? Besides the few that came with the software? Thank you, Sherrie

In your Poser library under Poses. In the Poser Pro 2012 or I assume the Poser 9 library, under people you will find Universal Poses. Quite a few.

What happens when you use a V4 pose but rather than click the single check button to apply the original pose you click the double check button to apply the universal pose?

I don't know, Phil. I will try it. Thanks

I've found V4 poses work pretty well with Miki and Tyler.

Ryan poses actually work quite well on Tyler with only minor tweaking.

I've actually found almost all of the SM poser figures poses can be used with each other with some easy tweaking... I used poses back as far as james on anastasia and was able to get some good results with just a bit of tweaking. They get most of the figure into some fairly natural looking movements and then you just have to correct a little from there.

I find applying the Ryan poses to Tyler requires adjustment of every single finger joint, as they almost always put a "sideways" movement in each joint. I can see moving the metacarpals or first phalanx bone sideways, but it just doesn't seem right to me that all 4 joints would each have a different sideways motion, which are at times in conflict. I mean, how does the tip of the finger move sideways separate from the rest of the finger?
Otherwise, yeah, the poses work pretty well with only minor tweaks.
