Heard just now in a radio ad for some kind of live performance by some kind of dance troupe:

"They're so good at what they do, you'll almost think it's animation."

I think we've gone round the Mobius loop onto the other side.

Sigh... It was bound to happen I suppose. The music is probably so good, you'll think it's Memorex.

The acting is so good, you'd think you were watching an anime!

WARK!

That is kind of weird. There's an article on Yahoo about wild dolphin footage "So good you'll thing it's CGI".

Well, I just read this Wikipedia article yesterday... by chance:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simulation_argument

I think some kind of Matrix-esque "Morpheus" character might be planting clues here, to try and tell us something...

...or tell me something. You guys could all just be AI bots

Or worse... maybe I am... gulp!

LOL

That's a fantastically disturbing image Paul... and not at all dissimilar to the scene on the bus currently delivering me home...

I don't mind, so long as it never goes so far as "the sex was so good, you'd think she was inflatable".

ROFLMAO!

Used to work with a guy - archetypal geek - and the standing joke was he broke up with his girlfriend because, during a moment of passion, he bit her and couldn't find the puncture repair kit.

Glad you thought it was a disturbing image, mate.  It's supposed to be.  :)

Hey

It's been a few years since I spent serious time keyframing, but I thought we were trying

to make animation look like real movement! Which was your point- in case anyone missed it.:-)

Now it's getting specific.  This popup ad for something called Fab.com shows that furniture is now copying Poser's own special polygon-smoothing "feature". Life imitates bad art.
