I recently put in a request at DAZ 3D concerning the availability of DAZ Studio 3.x. Today, Oct. 3, 2012, I received an answer. I am posting the information here for the benefit of all of the good folks in the art community in order to give a definite and truthful answer to the question "Is DAZ Studio 3.x still available for download?"

The answer I received indicates without a doubt that it is no longer available for download, nor is it supported at DAZ 3D. I know this may be bad news for those of us that do not have it already, but those are the facts.

**For those that do have it, I suggest keeping it if you wish to continue using it for some of the features that are not found in later versions. There is at least some good news to report here for you that have a version of DS3: It is possible to have a version of DS3 and a version of DS4 on your computer at the same time; At least for those with Windows OS. I cannot say whether or not this is true for Mac OSX, but perhaps someone using that OS will know and inform us here. **
