Thank you for all your comments. I will be very happy if someone use theses 3D resources to create Poser figures.
MistyLaraPrincess - I think the UVmap is nice because it's just a single template/texture for the complete figure and you still get a good resolution for the textures. Anyway, you are free to change the UVmap the way you prefer. You really need to group it the way you prefer (groups are really needed because the included OBJs were not divided in groups).

One thing I did notice about her today was that she is almost the same size as Miki. I did a test run with "borrowing" her grouping and weight mapping. There were some issues, of course, but overall, it worked. I scrapped it, because it's not my work.

¡y muchas gracias para las dos figuras!

@ Miss Nancy Doh! thats probably why I thought I could upload zips
just a simple dynamic dress runs to about 1100 polys, it should work fine but only tested in drape
to use delete .txt from filename then unzip, import to poser with ALL options unchecked
if you like it have fun if you dont just delete it

Textured in photoshop and zbrush, and even added the panty clothing item.
Face is not 100% since I'm trying to figure out the UV mappings you made.
Rendered in Vray. Will do rigging next and then send to octane for a final render.

Um, George, not to be picky, but I thought the idea behind these figures was to render them in Poser. Exclusively. Which is why I said that leaves me out, because I want to respect 3Dream's terms of usage. Tbh, multi-app art is quite common these days - I'm in Blender these days than Poser these days, but that's probably due to not being happy in Windows anymore... I like the freedom (not no-cost-ness, freedom... I can do what I want with software without worrying about EULAs and restrictions... you know, freedom! - and PP2012 runs unimpressively in VirtualBox) and find Windows abyssmally slow and arrogant to boot.
Anyway.... just saying...

Actually it does not state you cannot render them using using another program for texturing- or how else are you to develop and map textures? I intend to rig them in poser and render in Octane. Then again just a test I will not use the figure anyway going fwd besides learning. Ultimately if it ends up as a usable poser figure is important.
G.
RobynsVeil posted Sat, 05 January 2013 at 2:34 PM
I guess you're right, G... just thinking that in order to render in something other than Poser/Firefly you'd have to use a completely different material-set. Which is the challenge I'm facing rendering - say - hair for my posed, then exported figure: Blender's Cycles manages transparencies reasonably well using the alpha channel in .pngs vs the black RGB(0,0,0) monochromic mask image we use in Poser, but there is an issue when geometry (like in the case of a skullcap) is very close to like skin geometry... you see the shadow of the invisible parts of the skullcap on the skin. All to say: I had to re-do the shader of the skin completely and the hair shaders don't work the same.
BTW: Jonathan Williamson (guru at BlenderCookie) suggested swapping the Diffuse BSDF for an Emmission shader node, and then turning off the glow with a light-path node, but I can't seem to get the transparency AND this trick to play together nicely.

RobynsVeil posted Tue, 08 January 2013 at 3:03 PM
Hedd, you're a legend! That was exactly the solution!
I did have to make the skullcap a separate object (no biggie), but then, just unticking the shadow option did the trick.
Thank You!!
