I know many of you like using this software, well there is a new and improved version that apperantly takes advantage of Multi Core systems and speeds have been improved as well even on a single cpu core.  No Mac or Linux version yet.

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound

Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound

Great info! Fenric put the original in Carrara as a plugin I wonder how this compares!  Thanks for the info.

Hmmm, when I downloaded Norton anti-virus didn't like it saying it was infected and removed it.

peedy posted Mon, 08 October 2012 at 10:05 AM

It's not infected.
Have you tried to download and install it with Norton disabled?
That sometimes does the trick.

I gave it a second try and it went just fine.  Then I scanned it with Norton and all is okay.  Puzzled but happy I am.

Snorton is infamous for false positives...I use a free one called ClamWin from open source

What Bobby said, yes.
Norton is a pest!
I use AVG free and that is good enough for me. :-)

I am glad it works fine now. :-)

While on the subject of AntiVirus  I recommend AVG and Avast both have free versions that work great.  Microsofts Security Essentials is coming along fine and does a good job as well.

Attached Link: ClamWin

I stand by ClamWin installed by my tech guy...very solid and plenty of updates.

Now if I could get something to replace Comodo Firewall/Defense Shield (more the defense shield part).  I really like the product, highly recommend but it has an issue with Itunes sharing.

H'mm just says it as encountered a problem and closes when i try to run it for some reason .

bobbystahr posted Thu, 18 October 2012 at 1:58 PM

well it's 64 bit so if your OS isn't 64 bit I fear you are out of luck as that's likely the message you'd get....

whoops. I didnt realise it was 64bit. the link I clicked on to download says:

Win32 Download.

I'll try it on the lap top them :)

bobbystahr posted Thu, 18 October 2012 at 6:58 PM

I didn't remember that from the dl, but as it worked fine and installed in the 64 bit Program Files I just assumed it was 64 bit...I could be wrong.
