I currently have Vue 9 Studio and a limited budget. I can buy the upgrade to Vue 10 Studio for $149. (Does anyone know if Eon will include an upgrade to Vue 11 when available since the release is so near?) Overall I am satisfied with Studio other than not having Ecopaint. I could add Ecopaint in a few months. The main advantage to Vue 10 seems to be splines as far as I can tell. Is it worth it to spent the roughly $250 to get Vue 10 plus Ecopainter, or should I be happy with Vue 9 and just get Ecopainter for $99? I need at act quickly while Vue 10 is still available. I am fairly new to Vue and any advice will be appreciated.

ask them E-on folk, but far as I know, usually when prerelase is out, if you buy then, you get upgrade free
but please check and ask them :) you have limited time though, of course month or so?

The artist versions have some sort of monthly subscription that gets ugrades for less in theory.

I ordered Vue 10 Studio upgrade last night for $149. Will add Ecopainter later. I liked several new features in Vue 10, especially the splines feature for adding roads and streams. It also advertises fast render times. I was not able to talk to a sales rep with Eon. Not a very user friendly setup. I did send an online question to customer service concerning whether you get Vue 11 when it comes out in the next few weeks. That was Friday and and I have not gotten an answer.

I can answer this, they stopped the free upgrade thing a couple of years ago, before you could buy Vue within the 30 days before a new version was released and get an upgrade for free, now you can't.

Thanks for answer. I never did hear from Eon.
