Just saw that as well...ugh. Been waiting all year on a good P9-P2012 side-grade sale.
I have little hope left... :crying:

I assume a new Poser 9/Poser Pro 2012 user would also be eligible for the free Miki and Tyler.
I'm not able to get to the CP website at the moment.

CP is definitely having issues, we're trying to get our IT team on it urgently. Here's a link to the offer that emailed this morning - the software links go to a different online store:

Thanks. I actually have Poser Pro 2012 but I'm thinking about gifting Poser 9. £45.90 is a fantastic price and would make an ideal present. :)

As long as you have a valid Poser 9 serial then you should be able to get Miki 4 and Tyler as that is what it normally asks for.
Also, for those that cannot get P2012 yet, and can afford P9, get it and sidegrade later on!!
All the best.

This looks like a great deal! From a daz-studio casual user thinking about getting Poser, What is the real world difference between Poser 9 and Poser pro 2012? I'd like to get into modelling and rigging but at the moment I am just a tinkerer...

PP2012 is more expensive and has GC render, along with some other advanced rendering options and other details they list on their site. but one can fake renderGC in poser 9 by using HSVTM value 1.66, gain 1.33, set via d3d's renderFF script. my vote for a d|s user would be to get poser 9.

You can find a comparison here:

If you create content or wish to learn how in the near future then Poser Pro 2012 is probably a necessity. It is also 64 bit (but also 32 bit for those still using that).
For a newcomer who is still learning 3D or just tinkering then Poser 9 may be enough. Check the product comparison chart and see what is vital to you.
