Subject: Have you abandoned Poser?

The Amanda product (http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/amanda-for-v4-and-genesis/96429) has all poser files in the DS content structure.

Does this mean that you require DS4 to be installed in the Poser runtime?

The way it is installed now does not work for both V4 and Genesis in Poser unless you create a new runtime called Content.

Of course I can move things around the way it is supposed to work, but isn't this a task of your quality control?

Hi.

You will need to contact the vendor on this product and explain to them the same question you are asking here. The vendor has made the product compatible with the DSON importer in Poser and that is why there is the Poser compatibility on the product. But I am sure if you ask the vendor to also provide a "poser only" zip they would help you with that. With the new importer...I think vendors are still trying to figure out how to package products that will work with Poser and Daz Studio and the best way to provide that product to the customer. No one is abandoning poser. :)

I thought there were rules on how the runtime was supposed to be organized. This product did not follow those rules (main runtime in the parent of the zip). All other products for poser sold here have been organized this way.

So it looks like the rules have changed, that was what I was complaining about

There is always an adjustment period for vendors as well as our testers, etc when a new product or feature is added to the use of products. We of course will be working with all of them to figure out how this new feature should be handled in the creation and packaging of products. I understand your concern and difficulty in using the product. My response was to ask you to work with the vendor on this and let them know your concerns as well so that they can help you with this one. I will be contacting the vendor as well as working with them.
