Arm creases look pretty fab... are they touched up? She does suffer from long leg syndrome.  Yes. Like where you are going.

btw, I think it's the shin length that is a bit stretched.

vilters posted Tue, 27 November 2012 at 5:10 AM

No touch up, shown as saved from Poser.
Long legs can be from the camera and pose position.

You've managed to succeed where most have failed with the arn/shoulder fold issue.

I think it's the same low poly figures he tinkers with from time to time with, which would make it a morph. I guess it would work for background figures in a render, but I already have Loretta Lorez for that. The faces, bodies and feet need a bit more work; but this isn't giving me much more than I already in my runtime.

vilters posted Tue, 27 November 2012 at 8:01 AM

@Male_M3dia
I also have Loretta Lorez. Morphed months on that mesh but had to give up in the end. She was purpose build to do what she does best: be a background figure.

Interesting.  Is she weightmapped?

The outside of the foot looks oddly arched on the seated one on the left, but that could be the shadow...

Nice job, her shoulder bends look great! Her proportions seem a bit off to me though, is she based on photos of a particular person?

The feeling I get when I look at her is that she's really tall and she's trying not to be. I think her high shoulders make it seem like she's pulling her head down, and her low boobs give her the appearance of a stoop.

For what it's worth I compared her to a photo I found on the web, I know everyone is different though, that's why I wondered if she was based on a photo ref.

In the second image of the thread, the dark haired girl's left foot does look a bit arched on the outside.

I could use her as a background figure.

Guys, don't forget to flag the nude images.  Even if the thread has multiple advisories, each post needs flagging due to the search features ablility to pull up individual posts.  Thanks and great looking figure.  :)

obm890 :

Real humans ratios are seldom the same as created characters ratios.

Real humans around
Heads are 6 eyes wide 9.5 eyes tall
Body's are 6 heads tall

created characters like Posetta ,Batman around
Heads are 5 eyes wide 7 eyes tall
Body's are 8 heads tall

vilters :

better views of body, hands, feet, face ,front and back would be helpful.
hairs in the way of view.

Nose is kinda wide.
between top lip n nose looks odd.
Necks kinda wide.
the U between the color bones kinda wide.
Breast set kinda low.
her small breast seem off to the ratio of a larger body.

What was she modeled ,Mapped ,Textured in ?
Poly count ?
A wire frame view of body, hands, feet, face would be kool.

vilters, it's very nice IMVHO.

p.s. girl in above photo is one from 3d.sk that they use for hundreds of skin textures here and elsewhere.

Latexluv posted Tue, 27 November 2012 at 10:53 PM

Making her compatible with V4 textures might be a better idea. I'm working on two V4 textures right now.

Tony, wich figure is she based on?

vilters posted Thu, 29 November 2012 at 5:57 AM

Click to enlarge The long leg comment made me do this test.

For the general Body shape see this  STUNNING example !!!!!!!!
==> I scaled Alyson, Miki4, and mine all to the same shoulder height.

Alyson, Miki3 and my figure overlaid in outline...........

They are exactly the same in front view..........  STUNNING.
Only leg position changes, and breasts also change in side view. !!!!!!!

Biggest difference is in the head size.
I was shocked.

More to come after further tests.

Thank you sir.
The Dress has 2 material zones, was build in Hex and is conforming.

The left one has a texture, the right one is pure procedural shaders in the Math room..

I like her.  I don't have the mesh or anatomy knowledge to offer anythig really helpful.  But I do have a quesion please, I have read enough of your posts to know that you don't think much of jcm's, hidden magnets and helper bones, looking at your posed examples above, did you get those bends without using any of those things on your figure?

vilters posted Fri, 30 November 2012 at 11:33 AM

Thank you Tessalynne

All convetional rigging.
But every joint was optimised to get the best result possible.

This involved lots of testing, sometimes modify the mesh, sometimes adapt the joint.
But the result is as rendered in Poser.

No JCM's, no helper bones, no magnets, not WMapped.

I could write a; 'The making of", if interested.

Expressions are in the pipeline.

First I wanted to get the general body shapes I was looking for.

One or 2 more body's to go, and then its expression and dressing time :-)
