I was thinking of tackling a rigging project, of an OBJ.  Question I have is, if I create a rig for an OBJ, can I save that rig, and use it for similar OBJ's?

In particular, I was going to try and rig a XNALara OBJ, and since there are many different mod's of the model, my thought being, if I could save off the rig, I could apply it to each mod...see examples mods above

(btw, has anyone rigged XNALara, and if not, if anyone good at rigging wants to give it a go, please be my guest, I am only doing it cause I can't find that it has been done.  I would support your efforts however I could :tongue1: )

Yes the rigs will mostly work, BUT you'll probably run into rig vs grouping issues.

Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.

Rigging in Poser is not as cut and dry as a lot of people make it out to be. Whatever you are transferring it from needs to be modified to do it right.

Poser transfers texture info in the setup room, so the rig you use for that needs to have the Morphs, channels, and texture info stripped out of it first.

I am not really sure what you want rigged, let me know where to get the obj and I will see what I can come up with. And what version of Poser do you want it rigged for?
