Well I checked, and making something an IK goal does not help. :sad:

@markschum,

It seems to be hard coded in Poser. I changed the internal name of 'liftarm' to 'lHand', and its endpoint got displayed  as numeric fields in the Joint Editor, and it also got the red cross-hair.

Although it's a major ball ache to rename parts, adjust the endpoint cross-hair, then change the name back, at least it can be done, and is probably feasible if you only have two or three parts to process. You need to be careful not to rename the geometry group in the declaration section.

actor lHand:1
    {
    storageOffset 0 0 0
    geomHandlerGeom 13 liftarm [don't rename this]
    }

@unbroken,

Quote - so what is the newest version of poser and the most stable

Poser 9 (P9), and Poser Pro 2012 (PP2012) are the newest versions. PP2012 is P9 with some extra bells and whistles added, I think the ability to do weight-mapped rigging is the biggest advantage of PP2012, P9 can use weight-maps, but can't create them. The fact that it displays the endpoint for all actors is particularly relevant to the current project. I assume that P9 should also display all the endpoints, but can't guarantee it. So if you have the brass, go for Poser Pro 2012. I have found it to be very stable, though like all Poser versions, it is not without some bugs.
