I looked and looked but I couldn't find any skin that is blue in color or drow to use in Micheal 4 so that I can make him look like a genie.

The only free ones I see are for V4!

Since no one has come up with one, you can do your own in the material room.

You can disconnect the diffuse texture, add a math (math functions, not color math) to the diffuse, and run the texture into the math, which will give you a gray scale image, and then put the desired color in the diffuse color chip.

Of course you have to do it to all surfaces

Wow. Looks like the simplest solution is always the best. Thanks for the suggestion.

If you use an HSV node instead you can also control saturation and brightness.

Try this. In the DIffuse Color, temporarily disconnect your image map for your texture.  Add in a blender node.  Hook input 1 to a 2d texture and select an image file.  Probably just a square photoshop of the exact color you want.  Hook up input 1 to the original texture you had.

You can move the blending number up or down to increase or decrease your color.

Rather than a texture, could use a math->simple_color node in the above blender.

I personally would use a HSV node as mentioned above for better control over the skin colour.  With the HSV node, remember that you can manually type values greater than the dials will allow.  this is a godsend if you didnt know.

hsv has a lot to offer and including that is a good idea.  This blender node thingie was for folks who want to keep their current texture map and just give it a color shade.

I'd love to see a screen shot of the blender with hsv
