I was looking to download/install python on my system to create some scripts, but I don't want it to conflict with Poser.
Can I download and install Python 2.7.3 on my Win7 box, and would it affect Poser?

I have Python 2.4 and 2.6 installed as stand alone applications on my system. Neither conflicts with any version of Poser. I believe I downloaded the Windows version and just ran the installer using default settings. They installed to C:Python24 and C:Python26 respectively.

yup, I had version 2.4 and 2.7 on my machine, no conflicts that I could tell.
You need to be running Poser to access the Poser methods of course.
