Am I imagining it or is there (or was there) a program called faceoff that you could use with poser and scanned images to make morphs? I thought it would be fun to use my grandaughters faces to make some fun fantasy characters for them but so far I can't find it. My google search results in everything but that.
thanks,
mystmaiden

Unless there have been great improvement with the program itself, opinions have been mixed about it's end results.

I personally didn't like it, but I had it a couple years ago when I first started trying to learn 3D modeling. I don't have a need for it now. On the other hand, it was just the demo version, so it was pretty limited. Maybe I'd give it another go one day...

The last version I purchase was the EZ version and I did that reluctantly as the results from the earlier versions were very limited.
The newer version was an improvement and it may give acceptable results in the right hands but probably only after a great deal of time and effort. As with any program like this it does need some quality photographs to work with preferabley with both a full front and side view. I used some from 3d.sk that I felt were high quality and I did have some limited success but that was over a period of about a week and only after numerous attempts, but then that could be down to my lack of skills. If a demo version is still available I would recommend trying that before you pay out any hard cash.
I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 - Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU . The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.

Thanks everyone - it sounds like its past my skill level but it might be worth trying to find a demo version to play with. Seems like when I'm Not trying to model a face to look like someone real - it does. But when I do try I don't get anywhere close.
Is Quagmire a similiar program?
Photopium posted Sun, 10 February 2013 at 1:43 PM
No, a Quagmire is what you will be immersed in when you deal with this piece of software. The results are not worth the time and effort and expenditure.

Quagmire is a neighbor of Peter Griffin.
