Subject: More Cylon Invasion

Here's my next project.  As you can see, I'm only part way done (lots more to go).  One of the interesting things about this model is that I basically only have to make 1/5th of it.  5 of the "wedges" are duplicates so it's not too crazy of a model.

I'm partial to the 1978 models of Battlestar Galactica.  The new 2004 stuff isn't really as much my style.  I hear there's a new movie planned.  They will probably have all new designs again (who knows).

One of the big aspects of Battlestar Galactica were the BIG ships.  A Cylon Basestar is one of the easier ones to do and will also serve my ideas for BSG art.

Stay tuned.  I hope to finish this reasonably soon.

I can almost hear Baltar giving orders to attack the Galactica! "By your command".

Nice job Kix!  I too am a fan of the original (though a bit campy) version of BG.

Doug Drexlers's CG work on the newer BG and Caprica are excellent though.
