Ok, here's sort of a "count the beans in the jar" question.
As you can see, there are two threads posted here for my Cylon Basestar model. This model has over 5000 separate objects but when I looked at the file size, I was very surprised to see how big it was.
There are only two procedural shaders used in this model.
Can you guess the file size of my Cylon Basestar model?
I will let people guess for a week and at the end, I'll put my model into the freestuff!

6500 kb is a little large.
As a hint, 95% of the pieces in this model are spline objects.

Ahh I thought about Vertex objects... So now we can reduce this a lot! 1500 KB
