It's a square version of a Pouf Ottoman footstool (or seat). The max scene file is compatible with 3dsmax 2012 or higher, and the Poser .pz3 file is for Poser 2012, but may also load in other versions of Poser, I'm not sure.  There's also multiple scale-specific OBJ files included in the zip, along with textures, and a .3ds version for anyone who still needs that file format for whatever reason.  Hopefully someone will find it useful.

And also available on ShareCG.com

Readme file containing further details is included.

it's nice.  I'll see if there's a scene like that in poser.  they got some in carrara.

Thanks.  If Carrara supports .obj or .3ds file formats, then one of the files I supplied in the zip should import ok there too.  You may need to scale the object up or down after import, as with almost any .obj, but it should work in just about any scene.

they have indoor scene in poser, so I add pouf_ottoman and girl to see how it rendered.

aiko3, angel blade, poser render, pouf ottoman, templarskin alpha, the pad

aiko3 is old free daz figure, using templargfx free skin shader and royloo free angelblade conforming figure.

Hey, that looks great!  Very good render.  I like your materials, and lighting.  Thanks for making use of the Ottoman.  I have a high detail sofa I'm working on now (see the modeling forum for the WIP screenshots), and will also be offering it up as a freebie.  If you'd like to beta test it for me when I'm done, that would be great!

Thank you again, and really great work!

Thanks very much!

yes, luxxeon, I will render your high detail sofa in above scene.  will replace leather sofa above with yours.  I found that lighting in above render was not good - no environment sphere nor hdri light source, and left window area was blocked, hence I can improve lighting.

had smoothing on ottoman render above, hence turned it off.  versions of poser enabled smoothing by default, often at wrong crease angle.  this is quick render at low settings.

your ornate chaise longue is very nice, however she can't lean back in it like this :crying: will try to think of some good pose.

That render is great, and the ottoman footstool looks awesome there.  NIce work!

I'm actually adding a back piece to the sofa/chaise right now, so leaning back will be possible to some degree; but it's more for aesthetic reasons than functionality.  I'll also include extra pillows for decore.  I'll post an updated WIP that includes the new back piece soon in the modeling forum.
