Yikes!
This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

I thought there was something wrong with my PC.
It doesn't look good at all on a wide screen monitor. Too much ugly blue.. I'll be using the firefox color my site on it.

The contrast is too harsh, both on my 4:3 and 16:9 Ratio monitors.
I dont like it.

Not much of an honor though.

I've been using one of those modified scripts ever since the last color change. Most of my color choices remained. I think all I need to do is find the correct part to tweak that mega blue background and I'll be good to go. (assuming what I'm seeing blue now is same as you are seeing)
And Congrats on Phil's 500th image.
skiwillgee posted Fri, 22 February 2013 at 3:19 PM
Well the old script I was using won't let me change the colors I want to change, namely that supernova blue I am seeing as primary background.
dyret posted Sat, 23 February 2013 at 12:52 AM
they have at least dampened the white.

I don't know what's going on but from brillient blue to gray seems a little better except the header is still a bland white and gives the illusion we're not at an art site but it's better than before. What would we do without the powers that be? I thought they would have posted a challenge as they always do for the design...or is that just me?

Nah, Quest... That's for the logos... For design, they probably took a recent nursery or pre-k graduate who likes to say "OOOOOhhhhh, purity thangs!!! Purity colors!!!"
On the other hand, this is much better but they still need to work on the brilliant white header, or at least just tone the white down to a dull cream...

haha, well.. at least the input boxes and the main menu aren't stuck in 1996 anymore..
If 'rosity wants someone to update the rest to 2013, gimme a call maybe? ;) Seriously.. I build websites for a living and I haven't built one that looked this old in 10 years.
I can twitter-bootstrapify more then just a few buttons, input boxes and header menu's if the staff so desires.. or create something with more identity..
