Trying to help a friend figure out Poser 2012.  As you can see, we attempted to load the Aiko4++ figure and got boxes instead.  Any idea what might have happend or what we forgot to click?

looks like a morph for Aiko ..not the AIKO figure..

Oddly enough, if I take it off "texture shaded" the figure shows up, but if I click on texture shaded again, it goes invisible.

Aiko 4 by herself is 1.2meg on my machine, not 190 bytes.

Anyways, hit Shift-Crtl-C and see if that fixes it.  If it does, resave her to your folder.  Looks like her display-tracking options were mucked up.

This usually happends if the GC is not up to requirements so poser sets it to box mode until rendering.

Aiko 4 is not a figure but a morph set of V4.  Try re-initializing both V4 and then A4.  In order, you need to have V4, V4 Morphs ++, and A4 installed.

cedarwolf posted Sat, 23 February 2013 at 10:43 PM

Ok, how does this "re-initialize" thing work?

Medzinatar posted Sat, 23 February 2013 at 11:04 PM

Either execute from shortcut on desktop (if still exists)

or execute batch file direct in

(Your Content Folder) RuntimeLibraries!DAZDzCreateExPFiles-V4.bat

As described, reinitialization must be performed whenever there is a new morph pack installed.

I still have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.  Are you saying to reinstall the original?  Sorry to be so dense, but I am a casual user and I don't know these terms or their definitions.

I don't think the problem is that you need to initialize V4.  Problem here is the Craphic Card. Since the GC can't handle the real time graphic poser set it self to the box mode.

Once you render it looks ok.
