Good start everyone.

I will search for feathers now as i will be walking around the dam at work.

Working a double due to the fact that i am working my shift now and a change shift night shift. Doing it this way as to be of tomorrow to attend the Tshwane Open Golf Tournament.

My goodnes alot has happened in here. Wonderful stuff indeed.

I have visit of my son this week, so I am not much in RR, but today I took some shots in the sunshine through the kitchen window. So here is what I maneged to see. Dont look at the composition. This fellow wouldnt stand still. He was fooling around looking for all the 11 ladies in the garden. :)

Here is one of the ladies. Taken just before he arrived. The ladies were trying hide when he came.  But they were all over the garden in bushes and under branches. It was really funny to see.

A turkey and a peacock.  
  
It was hard to choose, the day before yesterday I caught many feathers ;-).  
I also witnessed a chicken fight, but that later.

My first a small feather stuck on grass.

My second a feather lying on the grass with lots of dew drops on it. Both early morning captures captured yesterday morninbg at work. Blessed day and weekend.

Hello Guys. Long time havent been here. Been busy.. Havent got words good enough for all I have seen in here. I will try to post a couple of shots.

Found a feather. Think it iis just from a blackbird. But atleast it is a feather.

These freaking 11 pheasant ladies on my lawn and the lovely male are not intended to cast a tiny feather for me to post. That is the least they could do for all the food they eat here :) Selfish Chickens. :-/

 

Even the Woodpecker doesnt drop one single feather. But eat our food, he can. GEES !

Wonderful!  :)  I'm loving this challenge.  Up to my eyeballs in projects though, so I haven't had a bunch of time.  I've got two very pretty feathers sitting right here on my desk ... can you imagine them until I've got some time to take pictures?  LOL!

Hi Helle, you must pull the feathers out their ass, because it is ungrateful, they do just eat and not pay (the pheasants).

Less than two weeks ago, we had no snow and no frost, so we hade a big puddle on the field and then we got visit of ducks. The puddle is now frozen and the ducks are of course gone. It was so difficult to capture the.. First because of the long distance, second because they were very fearful, so just a tiny move and they were walking far away where you couldnt see them against the soil.

This crow is, I think, a little bit early in the search for eggs in other birds nests. :-) This shot is taken 3 days ago.

Great stuff, everybody!  I'm really enjoying seeing these shots.  My desk feathers are packed in a box somewhere now, so don't hold your breath.  :P

I did capture some feather captures today.

So here is my tow for the new week.

My first.

Two Hadid Ibis on the grass. I lied on my stomach for this one and made use of manual focuse due to the fact that there were Grass in the way of my lens and the Hadida's.

My second a Guinea Fowl feather that i found when walking around the dam today. I did put the feather in a opening of a tree trunk that was sawed off by workers of the power station. I trust everyone will enjoy these two feather captures. God bless.

My first a feather that i did stuck in a opening on a big sawed off Tree.
