okay, total shot in the dark here.
so i have MT Mirror II (2.2.0) by masasi. and i have michael 3. and i have a bunch of morphs sculpted for M3 that, due to the idiocy of the universe, are not symmetrical. so. i load them into MT Mirror and mirror them, right to left.
now here's where it gets complex. i sculpted the morphs on a morphed base. so i make a morph of the morph base and set it to -1. then i set the mirrored morph to 1. that subtracts the preset morphs from the new morph and leaves me with -- spawn morph target-- the morph i made.
here's my problem. when i use the spawned 'new-morph-with-base-subtracted,' the LEFT ear and corner of the jaw move. the right do NOT move, they're not supposed to move, the morph doesn't have anything to DO with the ear or jaw, it's just for the nose.
it's not the morph that i get straight out of sculptris. i loaded that and there is NO ear/jaw movement at all. but once it comes out of MTM... fubar.
does anybody have a magical solution that might work? because i've tried everything. i thought it was getting confused with my 'base' in MTM being asymmetrical, but i went and chopped off the actual obj file head. i can't find any other reason why the ear and jaw go off. no, i just started with a clean, new, m3 character.
does anybody know a good trick to chop off the jaw and ear from the right-side vertices and mirror those to the left? the ones that are standing still? without losing my nose symmetry? GAH!
didn't think so. but i'm desperate.

Attached Link: http://ockhamsbungalow.com/Python/
it has been a long time since i used them but i have used Ockham's scripts to repair morphs.Morph slicer: Split off part of a morph.
Morph Mirror. Creates a mirrored morph, either on opp. side of centerparts or on opp. limb.

Another vote for ockham's Morph Mirror...I've used it liberally. LOL
