Subject: Making Clouds?

I want to try some Stylized Clouds in this scene instead of the real ones shown here. I have an Alpha Image of the shapes for the clouds. Which approach do you think I should try? 1: Model Clouds from Alpha Image in Zbrush. Then Import that into Vue and figure out a way to stretch the clouds model to cover the sky and cover model with a cloud mat. or 2: Somehow Use Alpha image to control cloud distribution to distribute the clouds into the shapes of the alpha image. Help Anyone?

You can use your alpha to create the density production for your cloud  layer. Best it to have a 16bit image, with fuzzy borders.
