I've checked here and at sharecg and haven't been able to find any free backpacks for Poser characters.  Looking for the old fashioned ruck sack type and the yuppie type aluminum frame pack.

I've done that search before...there is not much.  There is one from the Lara croft freebies in the rendo freebies.

I have also looked and came up empty.  A few days ago, I was looking for one of those bags that women carry across their back but is used as a purse.  Came up with zero with that one too.

I have a couple but they came as part of a clothing set for swat team or military. O don't see those at sharecg though.  I know poserworld had a few but not free.

conforming or prop? if you want conforming I can only do it for the dolls I have

I have a freebie rucksack designed to hang on the back of a wheelchair. I'm sure you could fit it to a figure by reshaping the straps with magnets.

Conforming would be nice if possible.  I have Vicky 2-4, Michael 2-4, Aiko, Freak that I normally work with.

I just popped over to look at the new Belle ball gown that wancow made (RDNA Community gifts) and there is a K4 backpack in there which may help.

ok all done not made it conforming mainly 'cos it works pretty good just parented and with a bit of fiddling it should fit anyone, just parent to chest and your good to go has couple of mat zones and is uvmapped, also made one to sit on ground with the top open just in case ;-)

There are other similar alternatives like Dropbox and Google Drive...but I believe China blocks those, so you would be excluding our Chinese Poser community from a cool freebie, perhaps!  :)

Now you just need a nice free frontpage (link), or free blog, (link) to link to your freebies....and you are completely "on the web"! :tongue1:

The two OBJs crash my Hexagon at import.  I don't see anything odd in your Blender exports though.

odd they open fine in poser(p7) (just checked in Hex and they open fine there too) not over impressed wth the topo but theres no tri's or ngons and I relied on posers smoothing to make it look better

 

@ 3doutlaw nice idea mate but that would make my hobby into a job!! then what could I do for fun ;-)

They import into modo and Carrara.  I exported from Carrara and now Hexagon imports them just fine.  It looks like the error is in the UV map.  There is none to see of all polygons are selected.

opps I just looked at uv in hex and its scary lol but uvmapper clasic was fine with it, maybe have to check that next time I make poser stuff in blender(havn't bothered much with poser since I got blenderized)

odd how my hex opened it an urs didnt, we must have some setting thats dif?

 

having seen what the OP is after I think that one is too "girly" for him rofl, will try to make a more army/campers type thing, maybe pattern '58 since I know where that hurts ;-)
